Fasting is good for health!

There are thousands of research supporting Islamic fasting is good for our own health. Well, we do not fast to get good health, but we follow the order of our Creator, as one of the pillars of Islam, but the benefits are not only in spiritual but also in physical health from many aspect.

Now we are living in the age of multimedia and multi tasking. Anyone with a smart phone can have access to Internet for playing games to having chat, and reading and writing in social media.

New research are emerging saying that spending too much of time over social media is bad for mental health. Not only wasting your time by wandering over endless social media, but people get addicted to the virtual world and become antisocial in the real world.

The truth is that Internet is not bad, but addiction is bad. So please go slow, moderation is the best, and if you think you are really addicted to virtual world, start “digital fasting”.
