Above recitation of Holy Quran with its meaning in English is a beautiful presentation of our brothers (Islam the Love of My Life)
I would like to request the non Muslim readers of this weblog to give little of your time to listen the recitation and read the English translation of the Holy Quran.
This Surah is the second Surah of Holy Quran which explained in detailed about attributes of the good people and the bad, misguided, sinful people.
Al Quran mentioned the misguided sinful people as people with the diseased heart, and also explained about their destiny, which is eternal Hell.
Surah 2:17 says
“Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire;then, when it lighted all around him, Allah took away the light and left them in darkness.(So) they could not see.
Surah 2:18 continued,
“They are deaf, dumb and blind, so they return not (to the right path).”
It has been said that there are three types of people
1. Those who make things happen.
2.Those who watch thing happen, and
3.Those who wonder what happened.
The vast majority of mankind find themselves in the last two categories. Most have “”eyes to see” but don’t “see” what is happening. Most have “ears” but they could not “hear” the truth, and they have “mouths “but unable to speak up the truth according to the teaching of Allah (SWT).
Allah also mentioned about the postponing of punishment to people those who are having diseased heart, deaf, dumb, and blind, in
“And let not the disbelievers think that Our postponing of their punishment is good for them.We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.”
May Allah give all of us the strength to follow the right path , and prevent all of us from falling into the group of the people who are “the deaf, dumb and blind”. ( Ameen)
