Is Islam only about the blind faith?

In the previous posts this blogger wrote about the faith to the Creator, Allah (SWT). Allah wants us to believe him unconditionally.

Allah has mentioned how he created Prophet Adam ( PBUH) in Holy Quran. Surah 2.

Then Allah(SWT) asked all the Angels to prostrate Adam. All followed Allah’s command except Satan ( Iblis). He was one of the Angels Allah has created. However he refused to follow Allah’s order.

How about Prophet Adam( PBUH). He also disobeyed Allah’s order by approaching what Allah has forbidden. However, he immediately repented and asked forgiveness.

Satan (Iblis) however was an arrogant Angel. Instead of asking forgiveness from Allah(SWT) he chose the way to rebel the Creator until the day of Judgement.

Let’s look slightly more about Prophet Adam. He was created in Heaven before sent down to this earth. He was given the very high status by Allah, to the extent that Angels were told to prostrate him.

First human Allah created has made the mistake. However, the most beautiful part is repentance and asking for the forgiveness.

Human were born by default as pure and clean. However, Human tend to forget, even in the situation of Adam, who was very close to the Creator.

Allah created human with free will. What is the purpose of this free will?

In Quran Allah clearly stated that he created this Universe not as a game.

Allah’s first and the foremost name is All Merciful.

He also promise us that he will forgive the sin we have made as he created human in weak form.

Allah wants us to be elevated to the higher position after our death.

How? By fighting the Evil in your inner self into pure and clean Human as we were born.

In that process, you will be tested with different difficulty levels of tests according to the Divine’s will. However, these test always make you a better person, if you win the test.

Human personality development is outcome of the crisis he has faced. If you have already faced so many crisis, and if you come out of it, the possibility is, you will be with very good personality.

Contributing to the human society is the main essence of Islam. Now we are using Internet, Windows XP, broadband, to disseminate Allah’s word. Any Muslim, or Islamic country developed this technology?

Look around you. There are signs of Allah everywhere. For the Illiterate to the Professors there are signs for them to reflect. That is the reason Allah has chosen Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) who was an Illiterate but a sincere and truthful persons as a last prophet for the Mankind.

A Professor may not become a Muslim even he see the sign of Allah but unable to reflect due to his own Arrogance. A simple illiterate worker may have Takwa by what he see around him and he is able to reflect as he is a simple and truthful person.

So Islam is not the religion for the great thinkers and philosophers. Islam is for all Mankind who are truthful and sincere.

Since we have submitted to Allah we now have to follow the guidebook of Allah which is Quran. Quran is relevant for the all Generations of Mankind until the end. That is the reason why Quran has straight forward direct instructions for us to follow as rituals. At the same time there are portion of Quran needs expert interpretation.

What I mean is Expert of the relevant field working together with the Islamic Scholars. That part has already started in the field of Medicine, Economics and the Financial Sectors. However we all need to work much more to unlock the wisdom of Quran to be properly implemented into our daily life. Judiciary is the most controversial field that most of the Non Muslim Jurists want to criticized upon us. However our Shariah Law academicians have to work very hard to clear the wrong belief among even in Muslims as Islamic Shariah Law is only about chopping the hands and stoning and canning people.

Another part of Quran, is we will never understand as only Allah will allow the veil to be opened to whom he will.

Allah knows the best.

    Beautiful MashaAllah!

Indeed the correct way of understanding the real Islam is to refer to the Holy Quran as the basis for all knowledge and then understanding the Sunnah and Hadith in its light. Anything that cannot be linked back to the Quran cannot be declared an integral part of Islam. We must be very careful when we assume that something is or is not part of Islam. Allah has protected the Holy Book for this very purpose that no matter how much time passes the word of Allah remains pure and provides guidance to those who truly want to submit to his will and stay on course to becoming true Muslims.
The values, injunctions, and the principles enshrined in the Book form the corner stone of the Islamic polity and the limits laid down by it provide the framework within which the laws of the Islamic State may be formulated. These principles, or limits, or framework, are immutable, but the statutes made by the State within these four corners are open to modification and change according to the needs of the times.

The Qur’an is the last of the Divine Books, because Messenger-hood ended with Muhammad. No subsequent human opinion or pronouncement in matters of deen, therefore, can be recognized as authoritative; nor can any man-made law repugnant to the Qur’an be regarded as binding upon the Muslims. The Qur’an is a book of guidance for all mankind and transcends the barriers of time and space. The Islamic State is an instrument for the enforcement of the Laws and Injunctions embodied in the Qur’an.
May Allah guide us and have mercy on us. Ameen.
