And Allah has full knowledge and is well aquainted (with all things.)”

W Salam,
There is no major difference between Halal and Haram issue in Hanafi and Shafai followers. There wss no Madahab during Prophet Muhammed ( PBUM) period as all follows the teaching of Holy Quran.
In Malaysia, most of the shopping malls have Halal and Non Halal section. Malaysian Government is very particular about Halal status unlike in Myanmar anyone can put Halal logo in their product without proper procedure. In short, in Malaysia, if you see Halal logo over the product, you can eat. For your information, there are many Muslims from Middle east and Muslims from many other countries with all four Madahabs. You are safe to eat any food product with Halal logo here.
