Allah Almighty says: “It is He Who created the Night and the Day,
and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along,
each in its rounded course.” (Surah Al Anbiya 21:33)

ေသာအရာကိုဗဟိုျပဴျပီးလွည့္ပတ္ရသည္ ” ဆိုတဲ့ ဆိုတဲ့ သစၥာတရားကို သိျမင္ရပါတယ္။

“Behold! We gave the site, to Ibrahim, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): “Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).” And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;” (Surah Al Hajj 22:26-27)

Tawaaf Is a Cosmic Law

Saya terkejut melihat link ke posting terakhir saya yang diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia (Bahasa Indonesia).

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu bahasa yang penting bagi Muslim sekitar 300 juta orang dari Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapura dan beberapa orang minoritas di Semenanjung Arabia berbicara dan memahami bahasa.

I am pleasantly surprised to see the link to my latest post that was translated into Bahasa Indonesia ( Indonesian Language).

Bahasa Indonesia is one of the important languages for the Muslims as about 300 Million people from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and some minority people in Arabia Peninsula speak and understand the language.

As a Muslim I do not pay much attention about current media frenzies’ claim that this world will be end by the year 2012.

Because all the things are created by Allah SWT.Not only the mankind but the whole Universe will meet their expiry date one day. That is known to us as Tawheed that is ,all Muslims have to believe as the fundamentals of Islam.

That day is known as Yawn Al Qiuamah “The Day of Resurrection” that will be Allah’s final assessment of humanity.

Let me tell you something very simple. Everything that you see around you has its own expiry date like the medicines over the shelf of your home. Only difference is that we know the expiry date of certain things and we do not know for the most of them, including our own expiry dates.

No one knows exactly when a person is going to die. Allah keeps it secret to all of us.

The same law applies to the expiry date of this Universe including the very minute planet known as Earth that we are living in the Universe. But for those who do not believe the Creator and the Day of Judgment face very serious spiritual issues such as frustration or looking for ways to survive in such Scenario.

I would like to highlight and compare the view of the materialists and Muslims on  today’s topic “Will this world end on 2012?” in this post.

Lets look at the case of Mr  Geryl who has decided to quit his job to prepare to survive the Apocalypse.

That’s because Geryl believes the world as we know it will end in 2012. He points to the ancient Maya cyclical calendars, the longest of which last renewed itself approximately 5,125 years ago and is set to end again, supposedly with catastrophic consequences, in 2012. He speaks of the ancient Egyptians, who, he claims, saw 2012 as a year of great change too. And he points to science: NASA predicts a sharp increase in the number of sunspots and sun flares for 2012, he said, sure to cause electrical failures and satellite disruptions.

There are thousands of websites offering survival tips, selling things from A to Z which they claim is useful for the day this world would end. Even Hollywood is making cash by releasing movie like“2012”.

For the Muslims, the message is very clear about the end of this world and the Universe.

No one knows that day. For an Ordinary Muslim who read the Holy Quran and understand the following verses will keep his faith only on  Allah, the Creator of the Universe.

“Yet man still wants to deny what is ahead of him,

asking when is the day of rising?

But when the eyesight is dazzled,

and the moon is eclipsed,

and the sun and moon  are fused together,

On the day man will say “Where can I run?”

No indeed there will be no safe place.

Quran 75:5 – 11

Allah clearly stated what will happen on that day;

“ When the stars are extinguished,

when heavens is split open ,

when the mountains are pulverized,

when the Messenger’s time is appointed-

until what Day is that deferred?

Until the day of decision,

And what will teach you,

What the day of Decision is?

Quran 77:8-14

When the sky is split apart,

When the stars are strewn about,

When the seas flood and overflow,

When the graves are emptied out,

Each self will know,

What it has sent and left behind.

Quran 82:1-5

The purpose of writing this post is to share the view of an ordinary Muslim, regarding such a rumors and news. Muslims know that our earth and our lives are not eternal here. We are here  temporarily for the test. The test from Allah SWT for all of us to determine who are the best people among his creation.

In other words, those who do good will be willingly waiting for the Day of Judgment for the rewards.Those who do mistake but repent and ask for forgiveness  will be waiting for that day with the “Hope” as  Allah’s attributes always begin as all Merciful and the Forgiver.

Allah SWT arrange things according to His will.

When I started writing this blog two years ago,I searched forthe Holy Quran translation in Myanmar language, available online.

Then I found U Soe Lwin’s( Nyein Chan Electric) www.quraninburmese.com.

Last month I received an email saying that Holy Quran’s Tafsirs were available in audio format online.Last month, we had a chance to meet here in KL.

Even though It was a short visit, we managed to find the time to sit down and discuss, about Islam, and Burmese Muslims.

Yesterday I have received an email from him. I asked his permission to get his mail posted in my blog to share with other brothers and sisters.

Dear All,

I am writing a few lines to inform you about my trip to online friends. The whole month of October 2009 I am traveling BKK, KL, NY, Utica.

When I meet online friends in there they welcome me like closed friends or own brother, but we never meet before each other.

When I saw it I feel and more clear on verses of Quran and Surah 3 Aryaah 103 (And hold firmly by Quran of Allah all together and be not disunited. And remember Allah`s favor to you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren.)

This verse mentions base on disciples of our prophet (peace be upon him) They were pagan Arabs fight each other before Islam. After they believed in Islam they were like owned brethren they sacrificed their lives for other. This verse is example for all believers to tell us by Allah Almighty.

Whoever follow the way of Quran they will love each other among them because Quran guides most upright way. (17:9) And never contradicted its verses. It means one who studied and practiced the Quran from South Pole and another one studied and practiced from North Pole their ideas never contradicted.

But whoever follows the ways of human being or ideas of any other than Quran, he or she will contradict among them. And they will fight each other even they were own brethren.

Because Quran says itself, (Will they not ponder on the Quran in deeply? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many  discrepancies.)4:82

As you know verses of Quran never contradicted each other. Our prophet teaching and practicing are only the way of Quran. He is a man of Quran I mean Quran is holy book and he is living Quran. According to the term Sunnah (The way of Quran is supreme law of Almighty, Sunnah is practice of our prophet on Quran. Not the way of any other ideas of our prophet. All his disciples never see other books or other ways and ideas except ideas of Quran. According to Islamic history, there were no other books or other ideas in their time. Also our prophet has no authority to teach or to send any other ideas than Quran.

(Say: (Mohammed) “I follow only that which is revealed to me (Quran) from my Lord”. These are clear proofs from your Lord and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.)7:203

(O Messenger, deliver that which has been revealed (Quran) to you from your Lord; and if you do (it) not you has not delivered His message.)chapter 5:67

Above two verses are clear about our prophet never doing teaching and delivering except ideas of Quran.

If our prophet saying or teaching any other ideas outside of Quran, how Allah will take an action on our prophet according to Quran?

See Quran chapter 69:43 to 52

(It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.)

(And if he (Mohammed) had fabricated against Us certain sayings.)

(We would certainly have seized him by the right hand.)

(Then cut off his heart`s vain.)

(And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.)

(And surely it (Quran) is a reminder for the dutiful.)

(And We certainly know that some of you are rejectors.)

(And it is indeed a (source of) grief to the disbelievers.)

(And surely it (Quran) is the certain truth.)

(So glorify the name of thy Lord, incomparably Great.)

If any body thinking deeply on these verses, Quran and our prophet can not be divided each other. Quran and our prophet were head and tail of a coin. We must believe that our prophet never do or say any ideas other than Quran. Our prophet is a human being and he makes some mistake by unintentionally. Allah reminded him by revelation like Surah 66:1

(O Prophet, why do you forbid (yourself) that which Allah has made lawful for you? Seek you to please your wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.)

If any body thinking on only this verse our prophet can not saying or doing his will. Quran is supreme law of Allah no one is above the law even our prophet.

Therefore the time of Swahaavas (disciples of Prophet) Thaavaeens(disciples of Swahaavas) ThavaThaavaeens (disciples of Thaavaeens) They never saw and never followed other ways than Quran.

Quran mentions about them 61:4

(Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way of life in ranks, as if they were a solid wall likes made by lead)

Above verse means believers are those who loves each other and united they protect other by risk of their lives. Now our time Muslim means those who were fighting and killing each other even in mosques. If any body questions us why Muslims happen like this?                                                                                 Answer is we are the followers of the ways and ideas of human being other than Quran. We can save Ummah to stop fighting each other with only the way of Quran like the time of our prophet, time of Swahavas,Thavaeens,Thava Thavaeen. Because their time they never see other ideas and the ways outside of Quran, only they follow the way of Quran like our prophet.

Our time too many men made ideas and uncountable men made books. All ideas and all books are contradicted each other. We are holding different ideas of men made ideas firmly out of the ideas of the Quran.

We have a lot of sects and claim themselves theirs ways are real way of Our prophet. But all sects are differences their ideas are out of the way of Quran.

But Quran mentions about sectarian. chapter30:32 andchapter6:159.

(Of those who split up their religion and become parties; every sect rejoicing in that which is with it.)

(As for those who split up their religion and became sects (, Mohammed) you has no concern with them. Their affair is only with Allah then He will inform them of what they did.)

These two verses prohibited any sects or ideas of sectarians. According to Quran or book of Jews or Christians including all other sectarians of all religions who split up the unity of their religion become divided into sects, each sect dissipating its energy in wrangling with other, instead of advancing the common cause.

You will think  why U Soe Lwin sends long email about differences between  the idea of Quran and ideas of human being,because you guys are teaching and writing for Muslims by internet with your blogs and webs. If you are writing on your webs and blogs base on Quranic ideas, Ummah will going to be the way of Quran like the time of our prophet and time of Swahavas, Thavaeens, Thava Thavaeens.

If anything is mistaken in my writing please forgive me because I am a human being.

Look at the above photo. He looks like a typical grandfather from one of the Islamic villages of Afghanistan. But he is not an ordinary grandfather. He is a “Monster Grandfather” as he gives opium pipe to his grandchild as you can see in the photo below.

And women became addicted to Opium.

Afghanistan is second after Iran in production of Opium on this planet earth.

By looking at these pictures will be embarrassing for the Muslims as an elderly Muslim man is doing something which is totally against the teaching of Islam.

Again, these pictures testified that how ignorant is this old man and his tribes. The root cause of this kind of ignorance is poverty and lack of education.

Who are responsible? Responsible people are the society around them, the politicians, the governments, and the powers that makes people to be in very primitive stage. So that they will not ask anything except from more and more opium.

There are many” Muslim Scholars” in the West Asia.  If they are really working hard to spread the true teaching of Islam, as Sahaba of Prophet (PBUH) done 1400 years ago,we will not find these kinds of extreme cases of ignorance in their areas.

We can blame other people for bringing Wars and exploitation. But when the majority of Muslim societies especially those who are so called leaders and scholars refused to change their attitudes, those who will continue to suffer will be like the people from the above photos which I copied from Big Picture Photoblog.

I am sad to tell all of you the true fact that most of the Muslims do not read the Holy Quran. They may recite few verses of the Holy Quran in daily prayers and special occasions without understanding the precious teaching for this life and hereafter.

People do not understand the teaching of the Holy Quran because they are poor and uneducated. When people fail to understand the true teaching of Islam, they became “so called Muslim” who are in reality, became people whose spirituality is nothing to do with the” true teaching of Islam”.

The painful irony is Muslims are lagging behind quite far not only in know how and technologies but also in the very basic essence of Humanity. While possessing the “most precious Book; the Holy Quran” in their hands, most of them have no idea how to utilize it.

The truth is Allah will protect His religion until the Day of Judgment. But for the people and societies, if the people refused to change their attitudes, Allah SWT will replace with the better people than the current groups of people who are” so called Muslims”.

KOTA BARU: It is wrong and inaccurate for Muslims to determine the kiblat (direction of the Kaaba in Mecca) for their daily prayers based on the direction of the setting sun, as there are only two days in a year that this method can be used as a guide.

Director of the Islamic Training Institute of Malaysia (ILIM), Paimuzi Yahya, said this method must also cease for determining prayer times, breaking of fast and Hari Raya, and Muslims should instead use Islamic astronomy as approved by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim).

He said from the study of astronomy, there were only two days (May 28 and July 16) each year where the position of the sun would be right in the middle of the Kaaba, which could be used as a guide for Muslims to determine the ‘kiblat’.

“The institute has been given the responsibility to remove the misperception among Muslims on the matter,” he told Bermana after closing a course on Islamic astronomy pertainig to the ‘kiblat’ here today.
Paimuzi said most mosques, surau, hotels and Muslim homes in the country did not use the proper method in determining the ‘kiblat’ when performing their prayers and this situation must not be allowed to continue.

“For this purpose, we want the course participants to guide other Muslims in determining the ‘kiblat’ correctly,” he added. – BERNAMA

Al Azhar University of Egypt has decided to ban women students wearing  Niqab. There are debates among Muslims and even among non Muslims,whether women should allow to wear Niqab or not. Covering the face of a women is not compulsary for the ordinary women according to Islamic teaching.

When I have decided to start this  blog, it was me who was ready to face the uphill task and challenges of ” writing about Minority Muslim in Burma”

Being a minority Burmese Muslim, I am well aware of the importance of  sharing the matters relating to the faith and  experience of Minority Muslims in Burma(Myanmar)to the others. Burmese Muslims are culturally Burmese who’s faith is Islam. However, there are occasions where they can not participate in certain social and cultural activities, if such activities are against the teaching of Holy Quran.

That is the point, where most of the Burmese Muslims are in dilemma, between the faith and culture. Islam is a flexible religion opposite to common misunderstanding of non Muslims portraying as rigid and inflexible.

For that reason we need to form a society, where we can share our knowledge and experience to form the bridges  among the people of different faiths.

Blogs are the  not one way platforms for  spreading information. They are more than one way, as some bloggers decided to have C Boxes, apart from the ordinary comment box below the post. Bloggers became friends and eventually form a bloggers communities, with the people of  the same interest.

Blog readers can convey their opinions through these channels, of course some of the Burmese bloggers need to lock their C Boxes due to the abuses, and using the vulgar words, that should not be published to the civilized society.

Another important aspect of blogs are the links.These links are important for those who wish to seek knowledge or want to form the social networks for the Burmese Muslims living overseas. If you are lucky, you may find a long lost friend, as Burmese Muslims mostly know each other or their relatives.

We should have links to other Burmese or Myanmar blogs and website as  we read and write in Burmese,and our origin is Burma. When we are saying Burmese Muslims, we must promote, protect the interest of the people and the land where we were born.

I have included simple rating stars and polls at the end of  every post. With just a mouse click, you can at least contribute in the good cause.

We need more Burmese Muslim( Myanmar Muslim) bloggers who will be able to communicate with the people of other faiths to  share the basic fundamental human rights that is “Freedom of worship.”

I would like to encourage those who are young and old, with different kinds  of knowledge and experience, to contribute for Burmese Muslim Society and our motherland, Burma by creating more weblogs to spread the” Words of Love.”

ဒိမွာ ကုရအန္က ဘာေၾကာင့္ မုသားေျပာဆိုေလ့ရွိေသာ ျပစ္မႉက်ဴးလြန္ေလ့ရွိ
ေသာသူ (လူ)လို႕မသုံးပဲဦးစြန္း (forelock) လို႕သုံးထားတာဟာ အ လႅာ အရွင္ျမတ္ သည္…
လူတို႕ကိုျပစ္မႉက်ဴးလြန္ရန္ အၾကံျပဳေသာဦးေဏွာက္ရဲ့အစိတ္အပိုင္းကိုတိက်စြာ
ညႊန္းဆိုထားတာအလြန္ထင္ရွားပါတယ္။

“မွတ္ေလာ့(မိမိ၏အျပဴအမူမ်ားကို) မရပ္စဲခဲ့ေသာ္ ထိုအရွင္သည္ဦးစြန္းကိုကိုင္၍
ဆြဲေတာ္မူမည္ “လို႕ ဆိုထားတာ ဒီလိုဆိုးသြန္းရမ္းကားေနတဲ့သူရဲ့စိတ္ဓတ္
ရဲ့အရင္းအျမစ္ကကိုင္ဆြဲလႈပ္မယ္လို႕ဆိုလိုတာပါ။

“No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!” (Quran 96:15-16)

လူရဲ့ဦးေဏွာတ္ဘယ္အစိတ္အပိုင္းကဘယ္လို အလုပ္လုပ္တယ္လို႕သိတာႏွစ္အနည္း

ငယ္ပဲရွိပါ ေသးတယ္။

ဒါေပမဲ က်မ္းျမတ္ကုရအန္ကလြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ႏွစ္ေပါင္း တစ္ေထာင့္ေလးရာ က အံ့ခမန္းတိက်စြာ

နဲ႕ဆင့္ျပန္ထားတာ ဗ်ာဒိတ္ေတာ္ရဲ့အရွင္သခင္ဟာ အ လႅာ အရွင္ျမတ္ျဖစ္တယ္လို႕

ဦးစြန္းကိုမွန္ကန္စြာသုံးတတ္သူမ်ားကိုသက္ေသျပေနပါတယ္။ဒါ့အျပင္ဦးစြန္းကိုဆြဲျပီးေခၚသြား

ခံရမဲ့လမ္းကေတာ့ ဂ်ဟာနမ္လို႕ေခၚတဲ့အပယ္ငရဲလမ္းသာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းတင္ျပလိုက္ရပါတယ္။
