We, Muslims always invite the brothers and sisters of other faiths to the path of truth; Islam. However, as I always pointed out in the previous posts about the controversy and confusions among Muslims, when it comes to the famous and celebrities’ impending reversion to Islam. Status of Islam is nothing to do with a famous person reversion,but we should be thankful to Allah (SWT) for guiding the person to the right path if that person choose the path, guided by Allah(SWT).

The following story is about the reversion of a security guard, Army specialist Terry Holdbrooks reversion to Islam from the Newsweek Magazine.

Terry Holdbrooks stood watch over prisoners at Gitmo. What he saw made him adopt their faith.

Army specialist Terry Holdbrooks had been a guard at Guantánamo for about six months the night he had his life-altering conversation with detainee 590, a Moroccan also known as “the General.” This was early 2004, about halfway through Holdbrooks’s stint at Guantánamo with the 463rd Military Police Company. Until then, he’d spent most of his day shifts just doing his duty. He’d escort prisoners to interrogations or walk up and down the cellblock making sure they weren’t passing notes. But the midnight shifts were slow. “The only thing you really had to do was mop the center floor,” he says. So Holdbrooks began spending part of the night sitting cross-legged on the ground, talking to detainees through the metal mesh of their cell doors.

He developed a strong relationship with the General, whose real name is Ahmed Errachidi. Their late-night conversations led Holdbrooks to be more skeptical about the prison, he says, and made him think harder about his own life. Soon, Holdbrooks was ordering books on Arabic and Islam.

Surah An-Nur, Wonder of the Holy Quran, the layers of darkness in the Ocean

“Or they are like the darkness of the fathomless sea

which is covered by waves

above which are waves and

above which are clouds,

layer of darkness one upon another,

If he puts out his hands,

he can scarcely see it,

Those Allah gives no light to,

they have no light.”

Layers of the Oceans

Light able to  penetrate only two hundred  meter depth

Above two diagrams clearly show that there are  layers existed in the  Oceans and  Darkness in abyss. All of you can see that  sun light can penetrate only two hundred meters depth of Ocean water.

Quran was revealed last 1400 years ago, to the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) who was an Arab living in the  middle of the desert.

The knowledge of layers of the Oceans and the darkness at the abyss of the Oceans are the finding of 20th Century Science.

This is just an another example among numerous wonders of the Holy Quran.

I was amazed to read the following science news at BBC web site. Quantum physicists are trying to prove the existence of the  Creator by their calculation.

Some of the Scientists became the believers (of  Creation) while quite a number them decided not to believe.

That reminds me the philosophy; “The knowledge and ignorance grows together”.

It is interesting to read the comments at above news site in BBC. Some are comments of the supporters of atheism and some are of the  supporters of the Creation.

Quantum Physics, if I am not mistaken was founded by Albert Enstein. Enstain started Quantum Physics when  Newton’s law of physics failed to explain the nature of  the light.Sometimes the Light behave as a wave and sometime as particles. Then they found the particles called photons, which behaves like both particles and wave.

Quantum physics successfully solved the most of the problem that were unable to explain by the law of Newtonian Physics.

BBC put the Quantum Physics in this way,

“Quantum physics is a hugely successful theory: the predictions it makes about the behavior of subatomic particles are extraordinarily accurate. And yet, it raises profound puzzles about reality that remain as yet to be understood.”

“The bizarre nature of quantum physics has attracted some speculations that are wacky but the theory suggests to some serious scientists that reality, at its most basic, is perfectly compatible with what might be called a spiritual view of things.”

Scientists seems to be expecting to understand the nature of the spiritual nature such as ” Faith, Love, Hate, ” to be explained by Quantum Physics!

Let us look at our understanding about dimensions in the following you tube video explanation.

According to the explanation that is simple and easy to understand by all of us there are at least 10 known dimensions. But our feelings such as , faith, love, are not in these dimensions. Or at least scientists failed to find out the most powerful source of War and Peace on this earth, ” Love and Hatred” belongs to which group of dimension.

As a Christian I would agree with John Polkinghorne. Science just reveals how awesome the world is, a world which God created and designed. It is ironic that many scientists try and disprove God but in many instances only demonstrate just how complex and wonderful the world is. There had to be an author of creation. That is the exact word that I would like to say. Whether we look into the sky for Cosmology or we look into our body for Anatomy and Physiology, or observe the Planet Earth, the more we explore the more we will find the wonder of Creation.

Allah created this Universe, that include all the dimensions and the feeling and knowledge. At the same time Allah is fair to all of us . Thus he allows all of us to explore the nature of his creation. Allah is fair to all mankind and whoever pursuits for that particular knowledge will  acquire, if Allah allow them to do so.

Intention is the most important part of a Scientific Research and exploration. The more the person knows and if he is sincere in his intention, he will certainly  realize that his acquired knowledge is nothing when compare to the complexity of the creation of this Universe . If the person is devoid of arrogance in his heart, he will immediately become the believer of the Creator of this Universe.

History of Holy Quran Translation to Burmese (Myanmar)

Holy Quran in Burmese , Translated by Ghazi Muhammad Hashim

Translation of Holy Quran 16:89, and 47:24 into Burmese

Bismilahh ( In The Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful)in Burmese Words.

(1) The first Burmese Quran translation was published in 1912. Haji U Kaalu translated it from Urdu translation of Mirza Hairat.

(2) The second Burmese Quran translation was published in 1962. Thiripyanchi U Ba Sein translated from Marmaduke Pickthal’s English Translation.

(3) The third Burmese Quran translation was published in three volumes starting from 1977 until 1980. It was direct translation work by the Holy Quran translation board of Burma. The chief translators were the late Muffasirul Quran Allamah Ghazi Muhammed Hashim and late Maulana Maqsud Ahmad Khan.

All of us should not forget to Dua for those people who brought  the Arabic Quran into Burmese language, as they have used their best efforts and time for the Burmese Muslims to read and understand the teaching of Al Quran.

Many people have a misconception that Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him) was the founder of the religion of Islam. In fact, Islam is in existence since man first set foot on the earth. God Almighty has sent several revelations and messengers to this earth. All the previous Prophets sent by Allah (SWT) were meant only for their people and their nation and the complete message was meant for a particular time period. That is the reason that the miracle they performed like the parting of the sea, like raising the dead to life convinced the people of that time but cannot be examined and verified by us today.

မိမိတို႕ေပးရန္အဆင္သင့္ရွိသည္။အာေရဗ်၏ဘုရင္အျဖစ္တင္ေျမာက္ရန္ ႏွင့္သင္လိုခ်င္ရာအားလုံးမိမိတို႕ေပးမည္။ သင့္အေနႏွင့္ဖန္ဆင္းရွင္တဆူဝါဒကိုဗ်ာဒိတ္ေတာ္မွတဆင့္ေျပာၾကားျခင္းရပ္ဆိုင္းရန္သာလို

ပါသည္”။

Neil Armstrong; Does his faith important for the Muslims?

I am due to attend a discussion “Islam and Cosmology, Universe” this weekend.

When started goggling by typing the words “Islam and Universe, Astronauts” the old hoax spreading in Internet alleging that Neil Armstrong, the first man landed on the moon, reverted to Islam was keep on popping up on so many links.

Most of the links were Christian links that politely ridiculed the Muslims for not knowing the truth that Neil Armstrong is a faithful Christian.

We are bombarded by these kinds of news by the media to weaken our faith. I have found the following Question and Answer will be useful for the today’s Muslim youths.

I would like to remind that status of Islam will never be changed because of a famous celebrity’s reversion into Islam. If someone embrace Islam we should say ” Allhamdu Lila” for the person as he he is on the right path.

Is the story that the astronaut Neil Armstrong became Muslim true?

I’m interested regarding NIL AMSTRONG.we know he had embraced islam.is he alive ? if so, pls reply about him.

The story about Neil Armstrong, who they say was the first man to step onto the surface of the moon, becoming a Muslim is one of the stories that are passed around among people. We have researched this story and we did not find any reliable source for it.

We have got used to hearing stories like that which then turn out to false, and it seems that this is a deliberate attempt to shake the faith of the ordinary Muslims, especially since they fabricated this story with some exciting details, that seem to affirm the superiority of this religion over all other religions.

So they spread the news that famous people, such as artists, sportsmen and others have become Muslim, and they quote something with the story that affirms the truth of the Messenger and his message, then after a while they hasten to disprove these stories. Perhaps the story about Armstrong becoming a Muslim is of this type, because he is one of the most famous people in the world. Moreover the reason why he supposedly became Muslim – as they say – is that he heard the adhaan (call to prayer) on the Moon then he heard it again in Egypt.

If the story of such a famous person becoming Muslim was really true, you would see him calling people to Islam and you would see the scholars and daa’iyahs and the Islamic media meeting him and talking to him, none of which happened in this case.

If you compare the story of Armstrong supposedly becoming Muslim with the story of Yusuf Islam (the former Cat Stevens, the famous British singer), you will see the difference between lies and truth, imagination and reality.

Yusuf Islam is one of the most famous of those who have really converted to Islam, so you see his picture in the Islamic media and he has his schools in Britain, and he travels in the Muslim world and performs Hajj and ‘Umrah. What has Neil Armstrong done of such things, even though he is far more famous?

Whatever the case, we do not need to hear the adhaan on the Moon in order to prove that our religion is true. If this man or anyone else becomes Muslim, he is the one who will benefit from that, and if he goes astray and disbelieves, then he is the one who will be harmed by that.

We remind you of the words of Allaah (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: O you mankind! Now truth (i.e. the Qur’aan and Prophet Muhammad), has come to you from your Lord. So whosoever receives guidance, he does so for the good of his own self; and whosoever goes astray, he does so to his own loss; and I am not (set) over you as a Wakeel (disposer of affairs to oblige you for guidance)”

[Yoonus 10:108]

“Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (this Qur’aan) for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his ownself; and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad) are not a Wakeel (trustee or disposer of affairs, or guardian) over them”

[al-Zumar 39:41]
